I am absolutely thrilled to share one of my happiest activites with you - Bookclub! From the very beginning, it has been an exciting ride. Our group is made up of the most amazing people, and I can't wait to see them every month. They're like family to us, and some of them even visit multiple times a month! This month, we've chosen The Christmas Bookshop by Jenny Colgan, and let me tell you, Arlissa, our book checker, is absolutely raving about it. The Christmas Bookshop deposits us into the middle of the life of Carmen who is suddenly without a job or place to live. She moves in with her perfect sister Sofia in Edinburgh—into a perfect house with Sofia's many children. Carmen begins working with a seemingly impossible-to-save failing bookstore.
