November Events!

November Events!

Anyone who can't find things to do in Pontotoc... isn't looking very far! Check out this month's calendar of events at the Bookstore! Looking for more ways to kill time before and after a Bookends stop? Don't forget to check out the Pontotoc Farmer's Market, our local antique stores, or the nearby Tanglefoot Trail!

November 9th will feature a two hour pop-up from local baker Gracefully Sweets & Treats! She will be bringing some of the best homemade cookies you've seen and candy apples. This is locally owned business that you may have seen previously at Pontotoc Nights! And all day long we will be hosting our first ever book trade-in event. Bring in two used paperback books and trade-in for any one used paperback book from our stock (up to 5 trades per customer). This is just the pilot event, so be on the look-out for more trade-in opportunities in the future!

On November 16th local artist Mosart will be in to host a nutcracker painting class! All ages are welcome, but spots are limited so we recommend purchasing your tickets in advance here

November 19th is our bookclub meeting for the month--one week earlier than usual to try and avoid Thanksgiving conflicts! This month we're reading the mega-viral cozy fantasy "The Spellshop." Learn more and buy your membership here.

November 23rd and 24th is open house! On Saturday, the 23rd, Vierheller Pottery is setting up to make hand & paw print plates mementos for customers. This makes for a fantastic gift or keepsake! Reserve your spot here

We'll be closing all day November 28th for Thanksgiving, and then we'll be back with sales on sales on sales November 29th and 30th! Make sure to follow our Facebook and Instagram pages to find out what deals we'll have for Black Friday and Small Business Saturday!

PLUS, to give you a little sneak peak of December's events, I'll go ahead and share that we'll be at Saxon's Drive-In in Houston, MS on December 1st, from 11:30-3:00PM!

It's good to stay busy, but it's great to stay busy while shopping local! We'll see ya'll soon Pontotoc!
